ASK Development Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary established by these three entities, spearheads the development of Sanctuary@Newton Condo. Amara Holdings Limited holds a 40% stake in ASK Development Pte. Ltd. through its subsidiary Creative Investments Pte Ltd, while Santarli Capital Venture Pte Ltd and Kay Lim Realty Pte Ltd each possess a 30% share.
Amara Holdings Limited has roots tracing back to 1928 when Teo Teck Huat founded a building construction business named Teo Teck Huat Contractors. Known for its diverse projects, including the construction of the former Cathay Building, the company completed the 16-story landmark in 1939, once the tallest structure in Singapore.
Initially established as Teo Teck Huat Enterprise (Private) Limited in 1970, the group expanded into building construction and property development. It underwent name changes to become Teo Teck Huat Investments Pte Ltd and later evolved into Amara Holdings Pte Ltd. The company went public on the SGX Sesdaq in 1997, subsequently moving to the Singapore Exchange Mainboard in 2000.
